'Rabbit Hole' Set Build Saturday March 4

Curtain Players has announced its next Set Build Saturday event, a March 4 work day to construct the set for the community theatre company’s next production, Rabbit Hole. Booth Muller is the scene designer. Kate Tull is director.

Work is to begin at 9 AM and continue into the mid to late afternoon. Volunteers are welcome for all or part of the day. The theatre provides pizza for lunch.

Muller, who also serves as the theatre’s technical director, said volunteers should bring along drills with #2 Phillips bits if they have them, but no experience or equipment is required for participation.

“This isn’t a terribly complex set, but there’s a lot of kitchen cabinetry to build, including an island with a functioning (we hope!) faucet and sink, plus a staircase over at stage right,” Muller said.

To best plan for an efficient work day, volunteers are asked to register by contacting Muller, at tech.director@curtainplayers.org Questions about Set Build Saturday may be directed to Muller at that address.

Rabbit Hole, a Pulitzer Prize-winning drama by David Lindsay-Abaire, plays at 8 PM Fridays and Saturdays March 24-25, 31-April 1 and 7-8 with 2 o’clock matinees Sundays April 2 and 9. Tickets are on sale now. Click here to order.

Patrons are advised that Rabbit Hole is recommended for audiences ages 13 and older because of adult language.
