Curtain Players has scheduled a second Set Build Saturday for its production of Crimes of the Heart.

A second Set Build Saturday has been announced for 9 AM November 18 to allow volunteers to complete finishing work on and to paint the set for the community theatre company’s next production opening December 1. Mario Salvador designed the set. Sarah Merkey directs Crimes of the Heart, the Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy by Beth Henley.

Booth Muller, the theatre’s technical director, reminds that the initial Set Build Saturday for Crimes is November 11. Work is to begin at 9 AM and continue into the mid to late afternoon. Volunteers are welcome for all or part of the day. The theatre provides pizza for lunch.

Muller said volunteers should bring along drills with #2 Phillips bits if they have them, and should wear painting clothes. No experience or equipment is required for participation.

To best plan for efficient work days, volunteers are asked to register by contacting Muller, at
