Dare it be said, Lettice build a set?

Technical Director Booth Muller has announced the next Curtain Players Set Build Saturday, a January 20 work day to construct the set for its February staging of Lettice and Lovage

Work is to begin at 9 AM and continue into the mid to late afternoon. Volunteers are welcome for all or part of the day. The theatre provides pizza for lunch.

Muller said volunteers should bring along drills with #2 Phillips bits if they have them, but no experience or equipment is required for participation.

To best plan for an efficient work day, volunteers are asked to register by contacting Muller, at tech.director@curtainplayers.org

Questions about Set Build Saturday may be directed to Muller at that address.

Hal Houston directs Lettice and Lovage. Drew Washburn is set designer and construction supervisor.

Lettice and Lovage plays at 8 PM Fridays and Saturdays February 9-10, 16-17, and 23-24 with 2 o’clock matinees Sundays February 18 and 25. Tickets are on sale now. Click here to order.

Lettice and Lovage is a warm and charming comedy from Peter Shaffer —  the author of the plays Amadeus and Equus — about a flamboyant tour guide consigned to the "dullest castle in England" who embellishes its history until she is confronted by her fact-conscious boss.
