In what may be Horton Foote’s best-known play, an aging widow runs away from her son and daughter-in-law and their cramped Houston apartment to realize her dearest dream: to return to her beloved hometown, Bountiful. What starts as an ordinary trip soon becomes an inspiring and life-changing journey of discovery.
The Trip to Bountiful will play at 8 PM Fridays and Saturdays March 23-24, 30-31, and April 6-7, with 2 o’clock matinees Sundays March 25 and April 8. There is no performance Easter Sunday, April 1. Tickets for the production are on sale. Click here to order. A Curtain Panels audience talk back is scheduled for after the Sunday March 25 matinee.
