'Exit the King' Set Build April 14

Technical Director Booth Muller has announced the next Curtain Players Set Build Saturday, an April 14 work event to construct the set for the upcoming staging of Exit the King.
Work is to begin at 9 AM and continue into the mid to late afternoon. Volunteers are welcome for all or part of the day. The theatre provides pizza for lunch.
Muller said volunteers should bring along drills with #2 Phillips bits if they have them, but no experience or equipment is required for participation.
“This build is going to be a little unusual because we’re planning to reuse a large part of the The Trip to Bountiful set – in place,” Muller said. “Consequently, we’re nearly certain we will get to do some painting before we’re finished on Saturday, so we recommend you dress in clothes that are old, well-worn, or stained, so you won’t be dismayed if they get splashed with indelible pigments.”
To best plan for an efficient work day, volunteers are asked to register by contacting Muller, at email@example.com Questions about Set Build Saturday may be directed to Muller at that address.
Chaylene Hardy is set designer for Exit the King. Danielle Mari directs the production.
Curtain Players presents Exit the King at 8 PM May 4-5, 11-12, and 18-19, with 2 o’clock matinees Sundays May 6 and 20. There is no performance on Mother’s Day, May 12. Tickets are on sale now. Click here to order. The play is presented without intermission, as the playwright intended.
In Eugene Ionesco's most accessible Absurdist drama, it's King Berenger's dying day and also the last day of the universe. Everything is falling apart – from his own palace to the very physics of the solar system. Will his commands to restore order be enough? Or will we fade into the mist?
