Curtain Players Technical Director Booth Muller has announced a set build schedule for the community theatre’s June production of Charlotte’s Web.
The weekend Web set build begins at noon Saturday May 26. A second day of work is planned for noon to 5 PM Sunday May 27. The work days take place at the 5691 Harlem Road playhouse.
Veteran and new volunteers planning to attend are asked to RSVP with Muller by e-mailing him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“If you cannot make it either day, don’t despair because we will almost certainly be continuing with the build the following weekend (June 2 and 3), same hours, from noon until 5 or 6,” Muller said. “Please mark your calendar to join us!”
Travis Williams is designing the Charlotte’s Web set. The production is under the direction of Keely Kurtas-Chapman.
Curtain Players presents Charlotte’s Web at 7:30 PM June 14-16 and 21-23 in Westerville’s Alum Creek Park amphitheater, near Otterbein University and Uptown Westerville. This a free outdoor production presented with support of Westerville Parks and Recreation.
The script by Joseph Robinette is based on the enduringly popular E.B. White book about the summer friendship between a prize-winning pig named Wilbur and a spider named Charlotte.
