An evening forecast for likely rain and storms has forced Curtain Players to cancel its Friday June 22 staging of Charlotte’s Web in the amphitheater at Westerville’s Alum Creek North Park.

With the hope of a more favorable weather forecast, Curtain Players will stage the final scheduled performance of its outdoor production Saturday June 23 at 7:30 PM.

Charlotte’s Web is offered to audiences without charge. Donations are accepted. Audience members are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and refreshments for the outdoor theatre experience. The play runs approximately 90 minutes with a 15-minute intermission.

Keely Kurtas-Chapman directed the production featuring a script by Joseph Robinette, based on the popular E.B. White novel. Charlotte's Web on Thursday June 14 opened its two-weekend, six-performance stand in the amphitheater. Wet weather unfortunately forced cancellation of performances June 16, 21, and 22.
