We're excited to announce that Sarah Merkey has taken on the role of Volunteer Coordinator here at Curtain Players. As a nonprofit organization, our volunteers are the lifeblood of our community theater, and we are thrilled to have Sarah stepping into this vital position.

Sarah will oversee the volunteer front-of-house staffing for all of shows. Each performance night, our front-of-house team is comprised of volunteers who usher, run box office and concessions, direct traffic, and manage the house. House volunteers enjoy a free seat for the performance at which they volunteer, along with a free concession item.

If you would like to volunteer at a performance, email to be added to our volunteer call emails.

For Curious Incident, we are testing out a new volunteer sign-up system called SignUpGenius. You can view available volunteer slots and sign up by logging in via Facebook or setting up an email login. Visit the Curious Incident sign up at SignUpGenius.

Sarah takes over for Debb Miller, who served as our Volunteer Coordinator for several successful years. Debb is stepping aside to focus on other projects within the theater like Westerville Fourth Fridays and Event Planning, and we thank her for the work she did cultivating new volunteers and keeping our shows staffed!
