Auditions for I’m Not Rappaport on February 5

Posted: Tuesday, January 24, 2023, 5:14pm

Director Michael Fusco will hold auditions for I’m Not Rappaport on Sunday, February 5 to cast this amazing show about two 80-ish-year-old men who refuse to be marginalized by time, i.e. put out to pasture. They have little in common and, initially, their strategies for resisting the inevitable are very different, however, when they join forces and to launch their heroic but futile counterattacks against their enemies-those who might dare to prey on the elderly and weak – the results are hilarious and uplifting.

There are many wonderful roles for actors in a range of ages; however, Director Michael kindly requests that those intending to audition for the lead roles of Nat and Midge be sure to attend the Kickoff in January 29. There will be a particular audition side that we would like them to prepare for the audition.  All other auditioners will reading from sides from the script.  Advanced copies of these sides will be made available to those who attend the January 29 Production Kickoff Meeting at the playhouse beginning at 6:30pm.

I’m Not Rappaport opens April 21 and will have eight performances.  For more information and tickets, please visit curtainplayers.org.
