Changes to Our 2024-25 Season

In an unfortunate turn of events, we have been required to change the final two shows of our 2024-2025 season.

Both The Sunshine Boys and Birthday Candles have been made restricted for our geographical area, meaning we no longer have the ability to present these shows.

This occurs when another producing organization, usually a professional house, requests the performance rights to the same show, and also requests to have those rights restricted in a certain geographic area. Since professional companies take priority, it is not unheard of for non-professional producing organizations, such as Curtain Players, to lose performance rights. While the publisher would not explicitly state that was the case for us, we believe that it is.

At this time, we have chosen two potential replacements; however, we cannot announce those titles until we have been granted the rights to produce. We are working to secure those rights.
