Special Call for Nominations

In our last newsletter, we announced that Michael Day has resigned as president of Curtain Players for health related reasons. We continue to wish him all the best. You can read his farewell message here.
 
In this unique circumstance, according to our bylaws, our board will vote to fill the open position of president. Depending on the outcome of the board's vote, the vice president's position and/or a trustee position could also become available. 
 
We are accepting nominations for all three of those positions: president, vice president and trustee. Do you have an interest in joining the Curtain Players Board of Directors? Are you interested in how the board makes decisions? 
 
Nominating committee members Christopher S. Musselman (trustee_3@curtainplayers.org) and Kathy Hyland (vice.president@curtainplayers.org) are taking nominations for all three positions to present to the board as, and if, those positions become available. If you have questions on each position's duties and term dates, please contact Kathy Hyland at vice.president@curtainplayers.org. We will be taking nominations through Saturday, January 10th. 
 
The election will take place as a part of our next scheduled board meeting January 13th, 6:30 at Curtain Players' Harlem Rd Playhouse. Although only board members will be voting, this and all board meetings are open to the membership and we invite you to join us!
