Al Lewis and Willie Clark, having reigned for decades as vaudeville's premiere comedy duo, ended their partnership on a bitter note and haven't spoken to each other for 11 years. At the urging of CBS, which is producing a retrospective on the history of comedy, Willie's nephew (who is also his agent) manages to reunite the reluctant pair to re-enact their signature sketch. Before long, old wounds, both real and imagined, reopen with hilarious results.
