The 2025-26 Patron Drive is under way!

Theatre is a collaborative effort utilizing the talents of the production team, actors, and our patrons. Not everyone feels comfortable being in front of a live audience; some people want to contribute in a more behind-the-scenes capacity. If that is you, we have different ways you can share your talents with us. We would love to have you donate your time as a volunteer on one of our committees, at one or more of the events coming up, or at the playhouse during a performance.

Another very important way to contribute to our success is financial. In an ideal world, ticket sales alone would provide the funds necessary to effectively operate our beloved Harlem Road playhouse. Unfortunately, that is not the case; we also need to rely on the immense generosity of our casts, crews, and guests to our productions to fully realize our mission. Monetary donations are a great way to support the productions and our facilities, and also gives you a tax deduction, as we are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

We have three designated funds to which you can direct your gift, based on where you would like to make the most impact:

• General Fund - This is the default fund for patron donations, and provides the Curtain Players organization the flexibility to use the money received where it is most needed.
• Maintenance Fund - This fund is used to support ongoing maintenance of our building and grounds, including (but not limited to) new gravel in our parking lot, major equipment maintenance and potential replacement (such as our furnace and air conditioning systems), plus general maintenance, such as exterior and interior painting and repair.
• Technical Equipment Fund - This fund is designated to support major investments to improve our productions' technical accomplishments, such as improvements to our lighting and sound systems, and new flats for our sets.

For 2025-26, we offer the following Patron Level structure, which defines giving levels and corresponding benefits.

• Fan ‐ $25 - $49 ‐ Listing in each production's program designed after receipt of donation.
• Understudy ‐ $50 - $99 ‐ Same as above. Donors also will be included in a lobby display, listed in the appropriate donor level.
• Actor ‐ $100 - $249 ‐ All benefits as above, plus 10 Concession Vouchers.
• Stage Manager ‐ $250 - $499 ‐ All benefits as above, plus:
  • 1 Season Subscription (if donation received by 8/31/2025), -OR-
  • 1 flex pass (if donation received 9/1/2025 or later)
• Director ‐ $500 - $999 ‐ All benefits as above, plus:
  • 1 additional Season Subscription, for a total of 2 (if donation received by 8/31/2025), -OR-
  • 1 additional flex pass, for a total of 2 (if donation received 9/1/2025 or later)
• Producer ‐ $1000 - $2499 ‐ All benefits as above, plus:
  • 2 additional Season Subscriptions, for a total of 4 (if donation received by 8/31/2025), -OR-
  • 2 additional flex passes, for a total of 4 (if donation received 9/1/2025 or later)
• President's Club ‐ $2500 and above ‐ All benefits as above. Patron names will also be added to a plaque placed in the lobby and displayed through the end of the 2030-31 season (5 seasons).
